Bangles’ first round pick Shemer Stewart comes out of Minicamp

Several media outlets reported on Thursday that Bangles has left the first -round draft Pick Shemer Stewart in Cincinnati.
According to Cincinnati Enquireor, Stewart left the camp so that there is no distraction for other players.
21-year-old Stewart was participating in voluntary workouts and team meetings, but clearly proceeded to participate in on-field activities. Bangles selected the Texas A&M defensive end with the 17th overall pick of the 2025 NFL draft.
Stewart is not planning to sign with Bangles until they adjust the language in their contract offering to match the contracts signed by the last two first rounds (Miles Murphy and Amis Mims) of the team.
Stewart told reporters on Tuesday, “I have been doing this for most of my life, and then suddenly something became very simple to fix it.” “This is disappointing.”
Bangles coach Zack Taylor spoke to the media about Stewart after practice on Thursday.
“For all miscreants, you would like to stay on the field, but definitely there are things that occur during an NFL career and this is now one of them,” Taylor asked Stewart to disappear from the time of preparation. “So he is in meetings. He is positive that way. He is learning. He has been a good learner, and we are ready to bring him back to the field quickly.”
Taylor said he did not know how the contract process would proceed and would not guess whether the camp will be with the Stewart team on the next month.
“I am not going to predict,” he said.
