Avalanche Sign Forward Matthew Steinberg, Jason Polin

The Colorado avalanche on Friday announced a one -year deals with Matthew Steinburg and Jason Polin.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

24-year-old Steinberg missed most of the 2024–25 season, with an upper body injury in November. He made his NHL debut on 16 October and recorded any points and 22 penalty minutes in eight matches with Colorado.

Colorado drafted Steinburg in the third round in 2019.

26-year-old Polin made his NHL debut in 2023-24 and collected a goal and two penalty minutes in nine matches for AVS.

Poln was unpublished after playing collegium in western Michigan since 2019-23.
