ATP Roundup: Taylor Charges in Finals in Fritz Stuttgart

Taylor Fritz won his first tour-level final since November 6-4, 7-6 (5) with Felix Agar-Aliasim of Canada in The Boss Open semi-finals in Stattgart, Germany.
After Germany’s native and top seed, Fritz will face home favorite Alexander Zerev in the finals and won 7-6 (8), 7-6 (1) over Ben Shelton, which stopped an all-American final.
Number 2 seeds, Fritz won 50 percent for Ogar-Aliasim to score 85 percent marks in their second second and did not face the break point.
Zeverev did not even face a break point in a match which was still contested tightly. He hit 26 winners from 2017 to make his first grass-court in the final.

Gabriel Dialo of Canada won the final in the final in France’s No. 2 Seed Ugo Hambert with ‘S-Hartogenbosh, Netherlands 6-3, 7-6 (4).
Bending in his powerful service, Dialo won 83 percent of his first serve, while not facing a break point. He will chase his first ATP tour win in his second final after reaching one in October.
Dialo will be matched in the finals with Zizau Bergs, Belgium, who converted four out of seven break points, winning the Rani Opelka 6–1, 6–4. After reaching one in Auckland earlier this year, Bergus is holding its first title in its second final.
