Spain’s World No. 2 Carlos Alakraj took Jiri Leheka of the Czech Republic 7-5, 6-7 (5), 6–2 at the HSBC Championship in London on Sunday, claimed the fifth title of the season and finished 21st in total.
22 -year -old Alakraj, who also won in the Queen Club in 2023, is the fifth active male player to win four or more grass titles in Novak Djokovic (8), Matio Beretini (4), Taylor Fritz (4) and Nicholas Mahat (4). The two-time Wimbledon Defending Champion will bring a career-lumbar winning line in the Grand Slam event (30 June-July 13).
In his two -hour, eight -minute win, Alakraj did not face a single break point and made 18 aces seven for 23 -year -old Leheka, competing in his first grass final. In the final set decisive, Alakraj dropped only two of his 18 service points.

Kazhkstone’s unplanned Alexander Bublike shut down its impressive run on an even higher note at the event, which Russia’s third seed Daniel Medvedev was harassed by 6-3, 7-6 (4) in the final, Hall in the final, Germany.
