Athletics Place C Sheya Langeliers (diagonally) on IL

Athletics put Catcher Shea Langlers in the 10-day injured list on Friday due to a left diagonal tension.
Langeliers were injured during the sixth-inning at-bat in a 14–3 win over Minnesota Twins on Thursday. He grabbed his left after closing a pitch.
Catcher Jhhoni Pereda was called back from Triple-e Las Vegas in a same step. Athletics also recalled outfielder Seth Brown from Las Vegas and nominated outfielder Drew Avens for assignment.
The 27 -year -old Langleries are batting. 237 with 10 Homeers and 27 RBI in 56 sports this season.
Langeliers determined the height of 29 Homeers and 80 RBI career in 2024. He has a .219 average with 67 Homer and 192 RBI in 368 matches in the three-plus Major League season.
