After the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), the teams of Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) and Dog Squad along with Delhi Police Teams participated in the Arun Jaitley Stadium, which found a bomb threat, which became a deception, said an official. DDCA Secretary Ashok Sharma told PTI, “We found a threat of a bomb through email at DDCA’s address. We immediately sent it to Delhi Police. The Delhi Police bomb squad came and inspected the entire place. Nothing was found.”
Sources in Delhi Police said that many teams were immediately taken to the stadium and the location was well tested.
“Nothing was found to be suspicious. Also, we have increased security in and around the stadium,” the source said.
