Argos to reverse tiger-Kats to lose skids

After the two teams broke into the Win Column last week, Hamilton Tiger-Cat and Host Toronto Argonats will try to maintain momentum on Friday night.
Tiger-CAT (1-2) handed over the first loss of the season to Montreal Ulouts last Friday with 35–17. Defending Gray Cup champion Argonauts (1-3) won 29–16 road against Ottawa Redblack on Sunday.
This is at the beginning of the season, but neither the club wants to fall in any way behind the East Division-Leading Aloats (3–1).
According to the team’s website, Hamilton’s wide receiver Tyler Ternovski said, “Winning at any time, whatever it is, feels great, but the first win of the season – this is a speed starter.” “So now the ball is just rolling. The locker room knows what it seems to win now and we are just going to hold it.”
Tiger-Cat’s veteran Bo Levi Mitchell has passed four touchdowns for 887 yards and a blockage. He enters the week with a CFL-Best 295.7 passing yard per game.
Argos counterpart Nick Arbakal has played another game compared to Mitchell and led the league with a 1,110 passing yard to go with five touchdowns, but also six interception.
Arbuckle, 2024 Gray Cup MVP, still keeping the seat warm for franchise quarterback Chad Kelly, which is out of a broken leg at least until the mid -July.
Toronto coach Ryan Dinvidi recently told TSN about Kelly, “He is getting better, but he is not yet full of strength to be able to save himself in his pocket.” “You never know with these things – it can take a little longer and then he may come back next week.”
Apart from Kelly, Argonauts have eight other players listed for Friday’s matchup. According to Wednesday’s practice report, the only tiger-Kat player listed as out was Fullback Daniel Bell (Elbow).
Tiger-Cats won all three meetings in the previous season by a joint margin of eight points, 27–24, 31-28 and 33–31. They will meet on 1 September 1 in Hamilton this season and 4 October in Toronto.
