South African fast bowler Nandre Burger on Thursday replaced the Indian Premier League’s remaining Indian seamar Sandeep Sharma in the Rajasthan Royals squad. 31 -year -old Sandeep was dropped from the first season as he claimed nine wickets for Royals being fractured in his finger after 10 matches. Left-Arm Pacer Burger first played six matches for Rajasthan Royals, which was removed from the playoff race in the previous year’s edition and took seven wickets.
The IPL said in a statement, “Nandre Burger – Left -Arm South African Pesar – was first played for RR in IPL 2024 and took 7 wickets out of 6 games. He joined RR for Rs 3.5 crore.” PTI DDV Ah Ah
