Angels placed 3B Yon Monkada, RHP Robert Stephenson on Il

Los Angeles Angels put the third basman Yon Monkada and right-handed reliever Robert Stephenson in the injured list on the first Monday of the three-game road series against Boston Red Socks.
Monkada went into a 10-day injured list with his right knee swelling. The 30-year-old Switch-Hitter built six domestic runs and 19 RBI over 30 games. 237/.336/.505 slash line.
Stephenn, who was restored from the 60-day injured list on Wednesday after recovering from Tommy John Surgery, joined the 15-day IL (preliminary to Saturday) due to correct biceps inflammation. The 32 -year -old threw a correct innings on Wednesday at the beginning of his 2025 season, but was removed from Friday’s relief tenure against Cleveland Guardians after three pitches.
In the same tricks, Angels raised outfielder Matthew Lugo to Triple-e Salt Lake and left-handed Sam Eldegheri from Double-A Rocket City.
24-year-old Lugo started his big league on 9 May and produced .231 average with three homes and six RBI during the 15-game, which ended last week when Mike Trout was active with IL.
The 23-year-old Eldegheri returns to Major for the first time after the last season, when she defeated Texas Rangers on September 6 to become the first Italian-born Pitcher to win the MLB game since 1949. Eldegheri set 1-2 records with 4.85 ERA in more than all three.
In this season in Rocket City this season, Eldegheri has launched nine and set a 2–2 record with 4.34 ERA. He owns 48 strikes and 27 walks in 47 2/3 innings.
