Andy Murray opened again for coaching, but ‘not for a while’

Following a brief partnership with rival-client Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray said he had not closed books on his coaching career.
“I will do it again at any level. I don’t think it would happen immediately,” he told the BBC Sport at the Unveiling of Andy Murray Arena at the Queen Club in London on Monday.
The 38 -year -old Murray, after 2024 Paris retired from playing tennis after the Olympics and joined the coaching team of Djokovic in November. He participated together with just six months and four tournaments last month.
Three -time Grand Slam winner Murray said that he did not plan such a quick transition in coaching after hanging his racket.
“But this was a very unique opportunity,” he said about working with a 24 -time Grand Slam winner. βIt was a chance to learn from one of the best athletes ever.
“You learn a lot about how to work with a team. As an individual athlete, you have a team of people around you, but you are a focal point, while when you are coaching a person, you are working with a physio, physical trainer, agents, and you need to know how I should get my message and work again.
Djokovic did not win a title during his time with Murray. In his only final presence of Serbian star year – in Miami, the Czech rival Jakub lost to Mennsic – and was dropped out of his early matches in both Monte Carlo and Madrid.
“It was a great opportunity for me,” said Murray. “We got some good moments away from the court to spend. The result as we wanted, but we gave it.
“We will look at the future coaching, but I don’t think it will be for some time.”
