Andrew Henny should feel right at home when he takes a mound for Pittsburg Pirates in Los Angeles Angels Anaem, California on Wednesday night.

The 33-year-old left-handed batsman has played for Angels from Angel Stadium (55, of 55, of 55, in which 55 starts), compared to any other major league ballpark.

With the 4.40 ERA records in a major league career started in 2014, Honey has not fulfilled high expectations with the first-draft pick (overall overall) of Miami Marlins, which compiled a record of 52-63 with 4.40 ERAs.

At the Angel Stadium, however, Heney has picked well, going to 18–13 with 4.30 ERA. It is also the location of his only career shutout-he threw an entire game an one-handle against the Cances City Royals on 5 June 2018.

Henny (1–1, 2.13 ERA) has reached a double figure in his career only once in winning, 10–6 for Texas Rangers in 2023, but he has left for a good start in this season with Pittsburgh. He is coming out of a stunning performance, closing the Washington National on five hits in 7 1/3 innings last Thursday.

Honey played at least seven out of two of her four innings and allowed more than once only once. He is 1–1 with 6.53 ERAs in six career games (four beginnings) against angels.

The Pirates, however, signed to combat the left-handed hits in particular PNC Park, in line-320 feet below considering his hitter-friendly short porch in the correct area.

Pirates General Manager Ben Cherrington said of Honey, “His list of specific pitch performances, style, of course we talked about the left hand cheese in PNC (Park).” “First and foremost, we have always liked him, such as he fit as a pitcher, especially with our team in PNC.

Right-arm Jack Kochanoviz (1-2, 6.20 ERA) will start for angels on Wednesday, who will descend out of poor outings in persistent outings. He allowed 10 runs and 15 hits in 91/3 innings in loss to Houston Astro and Texas Rangers on 11 April and last Thursday respectively.

Despite leaving 2–6 for angels for angels after being called last July, Kochanoviz did a respectable ERA of 3.99 and run only 10 hitters in 65 1/3 innings, earning an opportunity to compete in spring training for jobs in rotation.

“I thought there was a lot of improvement,” said Ron Washington, the manager of Angels. “He showed tremendous qualifications with being able to apply those things, which we were trying to give them on the fly. And he showed a tremendous heartbeat, and that is why, I think there was some very good start for us towards the end of the year.

Kochanoviz never faced pirates.

Pirates suddenly warmed up with 18 hits in the 9–3 win on Tuesday, winning 9–3 over Angels, including Brian Reynolds, Isia Kenner-Palefa and three each of the Tommy Fam.
