Alexander Zverev topped Ben Shelton for the third title in Munich

Alexander Zverev gave himself a memorable birthday gift on Sunday, defeating Ben Shelton 6–2, 6-4 to win the BMW Open in Munich.
On his 28th birthday, German won its third title in the tournament in front of his home fans in just 71 minutes. This was his winning 24th ATP tour.
Since reaching the Australian Open final in January, the Zeverev tour was just 6–6 in the tour matches, but looked fresh in Munich, taking the Kle-court tournament to three sets on the road once.
In the final, Zeverev won 89 per cent marks on her first serve and had only seven unexpected errors compared to 21 for Shelton. He did not face a break point and broke Shelton’s service thrice as he went 2–0 in his career against the 22-year-old American.
Zerev first won in Munich in 2017 and 2018.
