In an untoward incident, Zimbabwe T20I skipper Sikandar Raza has lodged a complaint with the Harare Metropolitan Cricket Association, for an alleged racial abuse, during the Vigne Cup match. If the local media reports are to be believed, Raza was abused by Rainbow Cricket Club’s head coach, Blessing Mafuwa.

The veteran Zimbabwean has demanded for an appropriate action against the culprit. Meanwhile, a full investigation has also been launched into the entire matter. The officials have started speaking with the players, umpires and the others.

Just a few days back, Sikandar Raza was in the news for all the right reasons. He had arrived for the PSL 2025 final, 10 minutes before toss, coming back from Test match in England. After playing the match in Nottingham, he went to Birmingham, reached Dubai, and then Abu Dhabi, and finally arrived in Lahore for the final.

In the final, he went on to score 22 from 7 deliveries, hitting the winning runs for his side, with only a delivery to spare. As far as his international record is concerned, he has played 19 Tests, 151 ODIs and 105 T20Is for his team. In them, he had aggregated over 7800 runs and even picked up 200 wickets.
