Alexander Barkov of Panthers for Game 3 vs Lightning

The availability of Florida Panthers captain Alexander Barkov is in question for game 3 of the first round series of the Eastern Conference against Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday at Sunrise, Fla on Saturday.
Barkov suffered an unknown injury after keeping Brandon Hagel away from the top of electricity at the 9:51 mark of the third period on Thursday night in Tampa. Barkov did not return to the game, a 2–0 win that gave the panthers a 2–0 lead in the best-seven series.
Hagel, who received a five -minute intervention fine, will have a disciplinary hearing with the league on Friday.
Panthers coach Paul Maurice addressed Barkov’s position for Game 3 after Friday’s practice.
Maurice said, “They have not been rejected yet, and they have not been cleaned.”
The 29 -year -old Barkov has provided three assistance in the series. Finnish Forward recorded 71 points (20 goals, 51 support) in 67 matches during a regular session.
He was voted as the Best Defense Forward in the previous season as the Selke Trophy winner. He also received the honor for the 2020-21 season.
Barkov is a franchise leader in several categories, including Gol (286), Assist (496), points (782) and game-winner Gol (52). He was selected by the panthers with the second overall pick of the 2013 NHL draft.
