Alabama QB Kelon Russell’s twin sister dies at the age of 18

Kerson Russell, the twin sister of Alabama’s freshman quarterback Kelon Russell, died on Wednesday at the age of 18, the Tuskalosa County violent crime unit announced on Thursday.
“The investigation is on … and, at this time, the non-criminal appears to appear in nature,” said in a statement by Tuscalosa County violent crime unit Captain Jack Kennedy. “Therefore, at this time, no other information will be released. We ask that the media respects the confidentiality of the family during this period.”
The family allowed police officers to confirm Russell’s death. Brother -Bahn passed through graduation ceremonies at Duncanville (Texas) High School last month. They used to participate in Alabama University together.
Kylon Russell, who quickly enrolled and participated in the spring practice, gave a message on her Instagram account, which was read: “My deep sensation is very cute with you guys. Losing a twin sister and daughter is a pain that can never imagine.”
Kiersten Russell Duncanville was part of the 2024 state-championship winning girls basketball team.
Listed in 6 -Foot -3 and 192 pounds, Kelon Russell was listed as 247Sports Composite rankings, number 2 players in the country and quarterbacks and the number 1 player in Texas as a five -star probability for the 2025 class by the number 1 player.
He initially committed to his original SMU in Texas before switching to Alabama and new head coach Kalen Debor on 4 June 2024. Duncanville won the State 6A Division 1 UIL Championship in 2022 and 2023. Russell was a national Getorade football player for 2024 athletic excellence, academic achievement and Excellent character.
