A’Ja Wilson in the fastest 5,000 points to the Sun.

A’aza Wilson scored 22 points and became the fastest WNBA player with 5,000 career points as the Las Vegas Aces used a red start to win an 85-59 win over Connectic Sun on Wednesday.

Jackie Young scored 20 points, Chelsea Gray 15 and Jewel Lloyd added 13, ACES (7-7) scored the first 19 points of the game and won the second consecutive time after the losing three-game losing season. Wilson and Young added eight rebels.

Wilson, the 28th WNBA player to score 5,000 points, in his 238th game, the remaining half in the first half with 4:04 in his 238th game on a driving left-hand paste. Breanna Stewart was doing this in 242 games, the fastest from 5,000.

Wilson is also the fastest and youngest player at the age of 28 to reach 5,000 points with 2,000 rebounds, 500 support, 400 blocked shots and 200 stolen.

Tina Charles scored 18 points and Olivia Nelson-Ododa added 12, as Surya (2–13) brought her lost streak to seven matches. Ruki Sania rivers scored 10 points for connectivity.

The teams are now 2–0 against the Sun in the four-market season series.

Las Vegas took a 19–0 lead in the first quarter with 2:19 remaining, in which Wilson scored six points in the stretch. The connecticut was 0 out of 11 from the floor to open the game and there were five turnover in the first five minutes.

The Aces led 21–6 after a quarter, before the Sun.s the Sun. 23–19 in the second quarter, which was drawn into a hastime within 40–29. Connecticut shot 18.8 percent from the floor in the first quarter and 28.1 percent before Halftime.

In the first two minutes of the second half, 7–0 runs pulled the sun within 40-36, before the aces re-entered the gas. Las Vegas went to 20–4 runs to take a 60–40 lead in the third quarter after an ongoing jumper from Wilson.

Las Vegas shot 42.9 percent from the floor in the game, while the connecticut kept up to 32.4 percent.
