Minnesota Twins placed the right-handed belly Ober in the 15-day injured list on Wednesday due to an impact in his left hip.
The move is retrospective on Sunday for Ober, who scored seven runs on 11 hits-four domestic runs, which lost 10–5 to Detroit Tigers on Saturday.
On July 12, at the age of 30, Ober is 0-5, in which 14 homeers are allowed in their last five. He starts 17 with 5.28 ERA with 4-6 in this season.
Ober is 29–27 with 4.01 ERA in 105 Games since its launch of its major league with Minnesota in 2021.
The twins recalled the left-handed Kodi Funderbark from Triple-e Saint Paul in a similar step. The 28-year-old Funderbark is 1-0 with 7.50 ERA in nine relief appearances this season with Minnesota.
