Los Angeles Angels will try to win their second straight series against the American League Division leader on Sunday afternoon, when they will face West-Leide Houston Astro in Nahnim, California.
Angels took the first four games against the East-Agni Yenkis in New York. After leaving Astro 3–2 series opener in 10 innings on Friday, Los Angeles won 9–1 on Saturday, as Catcher Logan O’Hope scored two home runs and in four runs and right-handed Jose Soriano scored 10 runs, while in 6 2/3 innings allowed one run.
Luis Rengifo also prepared for Los Angeles.
Veteran right-handed elephant Kyle Hendrix (5-6, 4.79 ERA), coming out of a game on Tuesday, in which he evacuated Yankis 4–0 on four hits in six innings with nine strikes, will start for angels and will oppose Ryan Gusto (4-3, 4.31 ARA).
The Hendrix is 1–1, which is with 4.50 ERA in two careers against Astro. It also includes a 7–3 defeat in Houston on 13 April, when he allowed five runs, including three-run homer on four hits in four innings.
Gusto 0–1 at the beginning of a career against Angels, with a three-run permission, including a single house run by Nolan Shanuel on four hits in four innings in 4–1 domestic losses on April 12.
Hendrix has launched three consecutive times on Seattle, Athletics and Yankis. His best beginning of his winning season in New York was his best, as he had an off-balance with 39 Sinkars, 42 changes to go with 14 fastball-none of which were 90 miles-and three curreballs. Two of his nine strikeouts came against the rule of American League MVP Aaron Judge.
“I went with a good game plan, and just saw what they were doing with us,” said Handrick. “Moving forward was a big key, establishing my fastball, especially inside some of them, to respect them a little. And then simply going down, the installation of both fastball and changeups, and then lifting the spots where we needed to go up to change the eyesight.”
Angels scored three domestic runs against Astro on Saturday night, marking their first win by more than five runs since April 10. O’Hope ended the 19-game homer drought with the fourth multi-home run game of his career.
O’Hope said, “Finally nice to hit a ball again.” “It was a few weeks since it was running. It was nice to return to the groove. It was a team’s attempt tonight, so it is one that we will definitely build tomorrow.”
Houston finished with just three hits in disadvantage, but one of them was an RBI single by Christian walker. The first struggling Basman, which is in the first year of three years, is batting only .214 with Astro $ 60 million free-agent deal, 10 domestic runs and 36 RBI.
“Recently looks better, I feel myself recently,” Walker told MLB.com. “I think I started at such a slow pace that average and accessories are coming slowly, it is going to be a chip-a-time-time-year thing. But I think a good challenge for me is not being caught in what the scoreboard says right now.”
Despite Saturday’s losses, Houston has 8-3 in its last 11 matches and still holds a five-game lead over the AL West over Seattle Meriners.
