After playing his first Test in four years and playing an important role in England’s 22-run win over India at Lord’s, Jofra Archer sent a rigorous message to Shubman Gill and the company, saying that he wants to win the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy.“I think I was a little emotional. It was a long journey – a lot of rehabilitation, a lot of training – but these are moments that make it worth everyone,” Archer was called by the Times.“The most difficult part has been playing cricket for the last one and a half years and is still on my training wheels. I’m a little speechless how things are coming together. I can play the other two tests if they let me go – I don’t want to lose this series.”England speedster has also set its eyes on ashes.Archer said, “I told Kisi (Rob’s Managing Director) that I wanted to play Test Summer and I wanted to play ash.”
