After killing for bicycle, Bayran Buxon to lead twins vs. skidding pirates

The Minnesota Twins will go for a three-game sweep against the Twins Pittsburgh Pirates, when teams meet on Sunday afternoon at Minianpolis on the last day before the all-star break.

Pittsburgh has lost eight consecutive games, and Minnesota has won six of its last eight. A win on Sunday will be put on Twins. 500 as they enter the break. He won 2–1 win over the pirates in the series opener on Friday and with a win of 12–4 on Saturday.

Minnesota will compete with right-handed Shimon Woods Richardson (5-4, 4.08), which will start his 14th. He is 3–1 with 1.38 ERA in his last five outing.

Woods Richardson maintained his warm streak on Tuesday in his most recent beginning. He threw five scorer innings against the Chicago cub in an 8–1 victory, while allowing two hits, wandering on three and exiting four.

This will begin Woods Richardson’s second career against Pirates. In his first matchup, he suffered losses despite allowing only one run on six hits in 6 1/3 innings in the previous season. He did not run and hit six.

Pirates Center Fielder can be without Vanil Cruise, who left the game on Saturday after hitting a single in the eighth innings. Trying to make a catch in the previous innings, he faced a clear leg injury, and it ran to escape first during his solo.

Pirates manager Don Kelly said that he hopes that the cruise is nothing serious.
