After IPL 2025, Mushir Khan and Angkrish Raghuvanshi set for England with Mumbai U-23

The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) recently organized a success Mumbai T20 League 2025 which was won by Maratha Royals. Shreyas Iyer’s side lost in the final.
It looks like the entire Indian contingent of cricketers is either in England or heading there soon. While the senior men’s team is set to play a five-match Test series against England, the women’s team will face England Women in five T20Is and three ODIs. Meanwhile, the India U-19 side is scheduled to take on England U-19 in five youth ODIs and two youth Tests.
Raghuvanshi, Musheer headline Mumbai’s Emerging team
Now, joining that growing list is the Mumbai Emerging (Under-23) squad, which will embark on an exposure tour to England starting June 28. According to the Times of India, the 18-member team includes promising names like Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Suryansh Shedge, and Musheer Khan — all of whom featured in IPL 2025.
Raghuvanshi impressed for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), finishing as their second-highest run-getter with 300 runs in 11 innings at a strike rate of 139.53. Shedge and Musheer turned out for Punjab Kings (PBKS). Although they didn’t get many opportunities, the two Mumbai talents have shone in domestic campaigns.
The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) had announced plans for the tour back in February, aiming to provide international exposure to its brightest young players. The team will play 10 matches in total — five two-day games and five one-day games — against various local sides in England.
While the team’s captain will be named on June 14, it has already been confirmed that Kiran Powar, the current Mumbai senior selector, will serve as head coach. MCA’s Deepak Patil and Arman Malik will coordinate the tour, with Khodadad Yazdegardi of Parsee Gymkhana facilitating the initiative.
