After crushing the loss against Mumbai Indians, CSK can still qualify for IPL 2025 playoffs

Chennai’s Super Kings continued their disappointing run in IPL 2025 as they slipped to the loss of nine wickets against Mumbai Indians on Sunday. It was a completely unilateral show as CSK was completely excluded by MI at Wankhede Stadium. CSK posted a total of 176/5 courtesy half -century from Ravindra Jadeja and Shivam Dubey. However, Suryakumar Yadav and Rohit Sharma were in sublime as they presented their side for a broader victory. After this damage, CSK lives at the bottom of the IPL table with just 4 digits. As a result, they will have to win all of all their remaining sports and expect favorable results from other teams to get a chance to reach the IPL 2025 playoffs.

Coming into the match, Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav hit a fluent half -century as Mumbai Indians defeated Chennai Super Kings by nine wickets in the Indian Premier League match on Sunday.

Chasing 177, Rohit (76 Not out of 45 balls) and Suryakumar (68 Not out of 30) shared an unbeaten 114 run stand for the second wicket, which easily take MI to take home.

Ravindra Jadeja (1/18) was about to take a wicket for CSK.

Earlier, Shivam Dubey and Jadeja cracking the half-century and shared a 79-run partnership for the fourth wicket, as five-time champions Chennai Super Kings scored 176 runs for 5.

Dube scored 50 runs off 32 balls, while Jadeja scored 53 runs in 35 delivery and to offset an one-affected start by MS Dhoni’s struggling side.

Ayush Matre, who was in place of Rahul Tripathi for the match, hit a valuable 32 runs (15 balls) in one-down.
