Shakira Austin made a Go-forward basket with 39.8 seconds to play, and Washington Mistics won A’Ja Wilson-Las Las VEGAS Aces 70-68 on Fairfax, VA on Thursday.

Mistics (10–10) excluded Aces 12–2 at the final 3:16 of the game to take out the stuner. Britney Cyx led Washington with 18 points, Austin contributed 16 points and eight rebounds and Kiki Irifen added 12 points and eight boards.

Sonia Citron scored seven out of her nine in the fourth quarter.

The league MVP Wilson faced a wrist injury after falling on an attempt to the loss of Las Vegas at New York Liberty on Tuesday. An MRI did not cause any structural damage on Wednesday and only one sprain. There is no timetable for his return.
