On Friday, Cricket South Africa (CSA) said Shukri Conrad has been appointed as the all-format head coach of South Africa. Conrad, who was a side-ball coach from January 2023, took over the responsibilities of the white ball after Rob Walter resigned from the role by Rob Walter. The CSA said that the Men of the Conrad 2027 would be in charge till the ODI World Cup, which will be played in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia. His next assignment will be the ICC World Test Championship Final against Australia, which will be from 11–15 June at the prestigious Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.
“I am actually being assigned the responsibility of leading the national team in all three formats. Coaching to the test side has been the biggest privilege of my cricket trip, and now something incredibly special to oversee the white-ball teams. I really get excited about the possibilities that lie further.”

The CSA further stated that Conrad’s appointment included forms as a part of the widespread reorganization of the CSA of the national team’s strategy, including the re -production of a national convenor of selection. “Shukri’s track record with the Red-Ball team speaks for himself. He has set a solid base and has created a strong identity within the test environment.”
