“We salute our brave men”: ICC President J Shah Tribute to Indian Armed Forces

The International Cricket Council (ICC) President J Shah expressed solidarity with the Indian armed forces following the reaction to Pakistan’s air strikes on Thursday after Operation Sindoor. Appreciating the valor and commitment of the Indian forces, Shah saluted the country’s troops to lead the fight against terrorism amid tension with Pakistan. “Our armed forces are our pride, and no word is enough to express our valor and commitment in protecting our motherland and people. We salute our brave men and women in the armed forces who are saving our country from terrorism. We are united to honor our heroes and build a strong, more united India.

India’s legendary spinner Anil Kumble also echoed Shah’s sentiments and praised the “unwavering courage” of the Indian armed forces. “In an indefinite time, a truth remains – our armed forces stand long with unwavering courage. Their quiet determination is India’s strongest shield. I salute every brave that protects us yesterday. #Jaihind,” Kumble posted on X.

On Thursday, Pakistan launched airstrikes on several military stations along with Jammu near the western border, but India’s air defense systems successfully provoked those efforts.
