No security approval, IPL 2025 players will not leave the train from Pathankot. This is an alternative remedy

After the IPL 2025 matches between Punjab Kings and Delhi capitals in Dharamasala, several reports stated that the players present in the hill city of Himachal Pradesh would leave for Delhi or any other city via train. But now, a new development has taken place. The Indian Railways has not been allowed due to the safety reason for taking players from Pathankot to Delhi. Now, a players will be taken through the bus.

Due to the ongoing military tension between India and Pakistan, the IPL 2025 match between PBK and DC after Thursday’s IPL 2025 match was said after playing 10.1 overs since the match between PBK and DC. Pakistan’s drone attacks resulted in blackouts in Jammu, Pathankot and Udampur, which are all close to Dharamshala.

Around 9:30 pm on Thursday evening, one of the four floodlights closed and soon the ground became partially dark. When the players and umpires made their way into the dressing room, even the remaining floodlights were closed.

Soon, the audience was asked to evacuate the stadium in a calm manner, a process launched smoothly by local authorities and Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA). Visual also showed IPL President Arun Dhumal walking along the border, and urged fans to leave the stadium. Players from both sides, as well as other workers working around the game, also withdrew their respective hotels.

Since increased cross -border tension on Thursday, the future of IPL 2025 – with 12 league games and playoffs – looks uncertain. After a meeting between the top decision makers at the BCCI, and after the advice from the central government, it will proceed to pursue the remaining part of the tournament.
