MS Dhoni again practiced. CSK coach says, “He knows where he is …”

Kolkata:
Crowd favorite MS Dhoni left the practice for the second consecutive day as fans who thrilled the Eden Garden on Tuesday again faced disappointment. However, his enthusiastic supporters confirmed the involvement of Talim in the Indian Premier League match against Kolkata Knight Riders of Chennai’s Super Kings bowling coach Eric Simmons on Wednesday, a win-win for the domestic team. Simmons said that 43 -year -old Dhoni will play the game “Ok” and “Play”, which could be his last competitive outing at the holy site. “Yes, he is hoping to play yesterday,” Simmons said, explaining how Dhoni knows how to manage his preparation.
“Regarding MS, he knows his position very well. He knows where he is. In the context of his preparation, he always works very hard at the beginning of a tournament and then allows himself to taper himself because he takes himself to a place where he is ready.
“So there is no problem, he just knows when he is ready and when he is not.” Dhoni returned to the captaincy duties after sidelining the skipper Ruturaj Gikwad with an injury, and Simmons said the infection had been comfortable.
“You see MS Dhoni as a cricketer, we always see MS Dhoni as a man who is a remarkable person. His impact on the team, his ability to nurture status, is famous about him for nurturing young cricketers,” Simmons said.
Even when officially not leading, there is a lot of difference in Dhoni’s only appearance, Simmons said.
“It always has an effect. Certainly, he now takes a final decision on the movements of the fields, but his effect – whether he was the captain or not – always without imposing. He does not impose himself on anyone.
“He was always an effect, so it was a very smooth transition due to his close proximity to Rutu.” Simmons also accepted the method in which Dhoni handled the change in leadership.
“From selection conversations to strategy on the field, someone like him, who made it easier, is that MS handles those moments.
“He is a notable man from that point of view, and it is very smooth for him to step into the role again. Rutu is still all around, still part of the conversation,” Simmons said.
The five -time champion was the first team to finish the season, but despite this, Simmons stressed that the side was completely committed and busy.
“Not going through exactly the motions. Some very good works have been done, we have been discussed around individuals and as a team. Obviously, we are a franchise, which has a rich history of winning and especially well.
“This is not a great place to be clearly, but it is a very rewarding place for us that we look at it from a different perspective and from the development of individuals. It is still a very rewarding period for us.”
