Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Hardik Pandya on Tuesday recorded an unwanted achievement in the most delivery in the most delivery during his high-day encounter against the Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Wankhad Stadium on Tuesday. During the discovery of Gujarat’s 156-Rana target, Hardik introduced himself in an attack in the eighth over. He bowled two no-balls and three detailed delivery, which increased his six-delivery more than 11 and scored 18 runs.
This is a joint largest delivery that a bowler has bowled in over in the history of IPL. He is now the fifth player to do so and levels with Mohammad Siraj, Tushar Deshpande, Shardul Thakur and Sandeep Sharma.
He started his over with three delivery and then went to a race for wide bowling, and then chased it with a no-ball. The story of the wide and no-ball continued until Gill gave a six-slap on the eighth delivery (fourth legal ball) of the over.
Hardik once again bowled a detailed bowling and finished his over with a dot ball, concluding his over with a shocking 18 runs. Hardik’s crisis was not limited to the ball.
With the bat, Hardik failed to pull a rescue acting in the first innings, when his side was 105–4 after the 12th over. The experienced all -rounder tried to take Sai Kishore by going down on a knee and trying to go for a slog sweep.
He failed in the middle of his shot and gave him a top-burning, which flew on Shubman Gill, a skipper of Gujarat’s Titans in the slip. With a successful catch, Hardik had to return to the dressing room cheaply with 1 (3).
The Mi 150-Rage looked lucky to bend before the mark, but the Corbin Bosch offered very important shelling towards the end. With his power-touching show, he slammed 27 (22) delivery to lift Mumbai up to 155/8.
