Former NFL Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has been suspended from his post as a high school football coach in Miami, while under investigation to provide impregnable benefits.
32 -year -old Brijwatter confirmed her suspension by Miami Northwestern in a Facebook post on Sunday, but said she is committed to her Alma Mater.
“The suspension came from MNW and it is impossible to suspend someone who does not work for you. So if IM is suspended from MNW IM, it is free to go to any other school of my choice, but I am not going anywhere.
“And if it comes down, I will do self -service with bleachers as I used to use in 2018 and 2019 when no one had any problem.”
Brijwatter led Miami Northwestern to Class 3A State Championship in its first season as a coach in 2024.
He returned to NFL in December, which served as a backup of Jreddo Goff with Detroit Lions, but did not appear in a regular season game. In the playoffs, he completed his only pass effort for 3 yards for a 45–31 loss against Washington Commanders in the Divisional Round.
According to several reports, Brijwatter posted on Facebook earlier this month that he had paid for his players for Uber rides, food and recovery services in the previous season. He asked the fans to donate this year to help cover such expenses.
The Florida High School Athletic Association on Monday confirmed rivals that it was collecting more information.
Brijwatter played for six NFL teams from 2014-24, with a 33-32 record with 15,120 passing yards and 75 touchdowns. He created a Pro Bowl in 2015 after 11–5 seasons with Minnesota Vikings.
