The Allahabad High Court has provided interim security to cricketer Yash Dayal in the sexual exploitation case. The 27 -year -old cricketer was facing allegations of exploiting a woman for five years on the pretext of marriage, an FIR against her on July 6 at Indirapuram police station under Section 69 of BNS.A bench including Justice Siddharth Verma and Justice Anil Kumar-X provided relief to Dayal till the next hearing date. Subscribe now!“You could fool for 1 day, 2 days 3 days … but 5 years … You are entering a relationship for 5 years … One cannot be fooled for 5 years,” the bench saw orally during the proceedings.The case stems from a complaint filed by a woman, who claims to meet Dayal about five years ago. According to his statement, Dayal made marriage promises during his relationship.The complainant has alleged that Dayal continuously postponed his marriage plans. He later came to know that Dayal was allegedly involved with other women.The legal representation for Dayal included senior advocate Gopal Swarup Chaturvedi, who was assisted by advocates Gaurav Tripathi and Raghuvansh Mishra.The FIR was registered under Section 69 of BNS, which is particularly related to sexual intercourse through fraudulent means.The arrest given by the High Court will keep effective till the date of the next scheduled hearing in the interim protection case.
