
Bayran Buxon hit the cycle for the first time in his career, and Minnesota Twins attended the 12–4 win over Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday afternoon in Minianpolis.
Buxton finished 5 -for -5 with two singles, one double, a triple, one domestic run and two RBI for Minnesota. He became the first player to hit the cycle in the history of the target field and the 12th player was about to hit the cycle in twin history. In particular, he did all this on his own boblehead campaigner cheap day.
Willy Castro finished 3-for-4 with a homer and three for twins with RBI, who improved 6–2 on his homestand. Kodi Clamens ended 2 -for -4 with one Homer and three RBI.
Jack Suvinski hit a single homer for Pittsburgh, which will try to escape a sweep on Sunday.
The twin crook Right-Hand Travis Adams (1-0) won his first career with four innings of relief. He allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits.
Pirates’ right-handed Mike Baroz (1-3) gave six runs on five hits in 1 1/3 innings.
The twins exploded for six runs at the bottom of the other.
Clamens began scoring with a three -run shot.
Buxon, who hit an informed single in the first innings, was three times for the center in the At-Bate after Clemens’s Homer and later scored on a throw error moments. Trevor Larnach chased with a walk, and Ryan Jeffers and Brook Lee reduced the outbreak with back-to-back, RBI hits.
The twins added three more runs in the third and their lead to 9-0.
Buxton ripped a ground-regium double to drive in the first run of the innings. Castro chased the center with an RBI single, and Larnach hit a sacrifice fly on the right.
Pirates climbed the scoreboard with one run in the fourth. Andrew McChen made a walk, reached the second position by Brian Reynolds and scored a throwed error by Royce Lewis.
Suvinski slammed a single shot to cut the Pirates deficit 9–2 in the fifth.
Wolner made it 10–2 for twins with a single home run in the sixth.
The scoring continued back and forth as Joy Bart hit an RBI single for the pirates in the seventh.
Buxton and Castro ran towards 12-3 at the bottom of the back-to-back, solo home seventh. The team fellow jumped into the top phase of the dugout to celebrate the Buxon explosion on the wall at the center, which ended in the afternoon.
Nick Gonzalas hit an RBI single in the eighth to drive in the fourth run of the Pirates.
