Lions (2-3) defeated West Division rival Elks (1-3) 31–14 in Vancouver on 7 June.
Both teams gave three-game losing lines at the end of last week, in which Edmonton defeated Ottawa 39–33 for the first win of the season and BC won 21–20 in Montreal for his first win after week 1.

“When I started getting hot, he likes, ‘You are rolling? Go, go, go,’ You know?” Rankin said. “When he is hot, it is the opposite. You get a spark, the spark remains. I don’t think there is any selfishness in the room. And when you have a depth in that kind of situation, it is difficult to stop.”
Lions discovered a way to stop him at the first meeting, limited rankin and leiks to a combined 29 yards on 10 careers.
In the season-opening win, Star Nathan Rourke was for BC, who completed 27 out of 36 passes for 324 yards with three touchdowns and no obstruction.
Rourn returned from the absence of two-game for a slant injury and thrown 352 yards with a TD and ran for a score in Montreal last Saturday’s victory. Sean White’s walk-off 43-yard field goal gave the winning points.
“I think there are many things that we can do better, start with me,” Rourke said, according to the team’s website. “Good teams find a way when it is not right, and it was definitely not right today. So, we will go back to the drawing board and get ready for Edmonton next week.”
