The 25 -year -old guard was sent to Memphis in June as part of the Desmond Ban Deal after spending the first five seasons of his career with Orlando Magic. In 2024–25, he got 9.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.9 assistance while shooting 35.3 percent from the 3-point range.
Anthony was the 15th overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft and developed as a valuable microwave scorer in Orlando’s rotation. He has scored 20 or more marks in 49 career games.
Even Ja Morant, with a hip injury, Grizlies chose to participate with the young guard. Anthony hit a cap of $ 13.1 million in the coming season and a $ 13.1 million club option for 2026–27.
Meanwhile, the box was a great requirement in the point guard following his decision to waive superstar Demian Lillard. Anthony may provide some very essential playmaking and scoring in the backcourt.
