Emmanuel Latte Lath scored 1–1 to a tie to Atlanta United with host Toronto FC on Saturday night at the penalty kick in the 11th minute of the second half stop time.

Five minutes ago, a kicking foul was being called by Charlie Sharp of Toronto for a kicking foul. Sharp kicked the right knee of Luke Brainon and the call was retained after a long video review.

Debbie Flores scored on a header in the second half for Toronto (4–11–6, 18 digits), which fell at home to 2-7–4. Matty Longstaff scored in the 48th minute with a solid corner kick.

Atlanta United (4-10-7, 19 points) is the winner in its last five matches (0-3-2).

Atlanta goalkeeper Jayden Hibert had four savings, while Toronto equivalent Sean Johnson had two.

Two minutes in the second half, Hibert stopped the shot of Theo Corbenu’s left leg.

A minute later, the Longstaff took a corner kick and sent a cross to the area in front of the net. The floors created space and easily took the ball to the net to break the scorer tie.

Corbeanu had a chance to add insurance in the 79th minute, but his fierce left -leg boot was saved by Hibert.

Toronto looked at the late foul before the victory, leading to the first goal of Latta Lath against FC of New York City since March 29. Johnson found his left hand on the penalty kick and jumped into the net.

Latta Lath had a right-foot in the first 21st minute, but the target was rejected as he was with him.

In the 34th minute, Latta Lath had another good chance, but his right-foot shot from the right side of the net rolled behind the remote post.

Brook Lennon had a concrete opportunity in the first half stoppage time, but Johnson knocked on his right -legged explosion on the net.

Earlier, Bartose Slisz of Atlanta sent a right leg shot to the net in the ninth minute, in which Johnson knocked.

There were two good opportunities in Toronto’s first half.

In the 37th minute, Corbenu closed a right leg shot by Hibert.

Hibart also saved the right-foot shot of the longstaff in the second minute of the first half stoppage time.
