Dennis Buanga Los Angeles FC shut down Dallas

Dennis Buunga earned a penalty, scored from the spot and assisted on a goal, all in a major first half, and Los Angeles FC won 2–0 for going to FC Dallas on Saturday night.
Nathan Ordaz scored a goal for LAFC (9-5-5, 32 points), which improved 2–1-0 after the FIFA Club World Cup went 0–2–1 and did not get out of the group play.

Buanga raised the lead 2–0 in the 45th minute when he moved to the penalty area and knocked his feet by FC Dallas defender Shak Moore. Buanga converted from the spot for the 10th goal of his team to score the 10th goal of the season.
FC Dallas’ Luciano Acosta, second in the club with five goals, came out of the bench only for the third time this season, but failed to ignite the crime in the last 30 minutes.
After a non-contact toe injury, LAFC defender Aaron Long moved to the 76th minute and was taken to the locker room on a motorized cart.
LAFC occupied 62.1 percent of the match and took 11 shots to 17 shots 11 for FC Dallas.
