Derric Lewis scored Quick TKO of Tallisan Tyssira in Nashville

Heavyweight Deric Lewis required only 35 seconds to finish the undefeated run of Tallisan Teixeira with a left hook at the main event of UFC Fight Night on Saturday night in Nashville.

40-year-old Lewis (29–12 MMA, 20–10 UFC) secured TKO to win a back-to-back stops in the first round and their first loss in 25-year-old, 2, nine MMA matches.

Lewis said that immediately after the fight, before his interview in Ashtakona, he received a congratulatory call from President Donald Trump, and the fight could barely put his response into words.

For the fight itself, Lewis did not have a lot of words for Ticiira, a Brazilian, who entered the competition as one of the growing highweight possibilities of the competition.

“I knew he was fighting with a tomato compartment,” said Lewis.

Brazilian welterweight Gabriel Bonfim took a partition decision against former UFC Welterweight title Challenger Stephen Thompson in co-headliner. Bonfim won scorecard-29-28, 28–29, 29-28 in back-forth.

27-year-old Bonfim (18–1 MMA) has won six of his last UFC seven matches, while 42-year-old Thompson (17–9–1 MMA) saw his defeat in three.

Fedarweight Steve Garcia extended the line of victory to six, unanimously defeated Calvin Cutter, defeated 30–27 on every scorecard.

Using producers striking and unconventional angles, Garcia (18–5) launched 34 percent of its combination compared to 21 percent for hardcore (23–10). The native of Massachusetts has made five consecutive quarrels.

French Fatherweight Morgan Charrir silenced the audience of Brijstone Arena, knocking on the Fan Fan Landvehar 27 seconds of the home-state.

Charlie (21–11–1) won six of its last eight, winning his 13th KO/TKO. Landvehar (18-7 MMA) has dropped three of its last four between back-to-back necklaces.

In his first battle after going from light heavyweight to heavyweight, Brazil’s Vitor Petrino was needed below a round to present the NFL defensive end osten lane by the rear-naked choke at 4:16.

Petrino (12–2) now has nine finish in its career, while lanes (13–7) have lost back-to-back fights to fall in the UFC by 1-4.

Light Heavyweight shut down the main card of UFC Nashville, as England’s Tukos achieved an head-end-arrow choke against Australian junior Tafa at 4:25 of Round 2. The victory won Tukkos (11-5 MMA) for the first time in three matches, which would submit his third career MMA win. TAFA (6-4 MMA) has dropped four of its last six, which is still demanding a back-to-back win since 2022.
