From 2020 to 2023, he played 19 Tests, which is more than Rohit Sharma (13). However, Rahane could score only 819 runs at an average of 24.08. In addition, the prominence of a debutant Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant also played some roles in Rahane’s expulsion from the senior team.
