
The team announced on Friday that San Jose Shark signed Jeff Skinner free agent forward Jeff Skinner for a one -year deal.
The 33 -year -old Skinner, is fresh with an one -year term with Edmonton Olers, which gave him his first postsen experience in 15 sessions in the league. The Olers lost to Florida Panthers in six matches in the Stanley Cup final for the second straight year, failing to secure their first title since 1990.
Skinner had 16 goals and 13 assistance in 72 regular-season games with olers, and a help in Olers’ Postsen Run and a support pair in five games.
After being selected by Carolina Storm with the number 7 overall pick in the 2010 draft, Skinner won the Calder Memorial Trophy in 2011 as the league’s best cheater.
In the 15 NHL season with Hurricane (2010–18), Buffalo Sabers (2018-24) and oilers, Skinner has scored 373 goals and 326 in 1,078 games.
