Explosive Vaibhav Suryavanshi Red-Genth material not yet, flop in 1 youth test

Vaibhav Suryavanshi only managed to score 14 runs in 13 delivery before I was dismissed in the youth test only IND U19 vs. Eng. U19 1.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi failed to replicate his white ball heroes in the Ind U19 vs Eng U19 1 youth test on Saturday. The 14-year-old has recently made history by breaking the fastest century in the U19 history and has been in a red-warm form. However, it did not translate to red-ball cricket as he had a short-lived stay in the middle.

Suryavanshi Red Ball Test fails

India U19 captain Ayush Matre won the toss and decided to bat first. Getting out as a opener with his captain, Suryavanshi started his innings in his trademark fashion. After the first ball broke a border, after which he hit two more fours in a single over.

Suryavanshi scored two runs in the next over. However, his stay in the middle lasted to only 4th position as he was caught out of Alex Green by Albert. Vaibhav’s score read 14 balls off 13 balls as he went back to the pavilion.

There is no doubt about Suryavanshi’s abilities when the white ball talks about cricket. From IPL 2025 to tour to England, the 14 -year -old continued to enjoy the meteorite growth, which led to all the adjustments. However, his real challenge will be red-ball cricket.

Suryavanshi has played only five red-ball games so far, in which he has scored 100 runs, on average just 10. The Youth Testing Series against England U19 is the perfect platform for Vaibhav to make a habit of some foreign conditions and improve your game.
