Seattle took the lead in the fifth. Solano reached a walk and went on an-out grounder. JP Crowford knocked on him with a line drive single and Rodriguez took advantage of a hanging scobal changeup, making it 4–1, exploding it on the left-centered area wall.
Detroit pulled it inside a run in the sixth. Perez reached an informed single, stolen the other and reached third place on a throw error. Green then drilled a triple for the right-center to run it. Spencer Torkelson brought Green with a sacrifice fly.
Raley pulled a tyler Holton Changeup on the left area wall with one in the eighth to give Seattle a two -run lead. Brent Herr reduced the seven -run explosion in his Grand Slam in the ninth.
