Vancouver Whitcaps and Colorado Rapids MLS will set to reverse some recent bad looks when they meet in Commerce City, Kolo on Saturday night.

WhiteCaps (11-4-5, 38 points) have dropped three of their last four matches to the San Diego FC to lose their grip at the Western Conference. But Vancouver coach Jasper Sorensen is well aware of the toll, a busy, large extent successful weather has taken into his club.

After reaching the ConcacAF Champions Cup final on 1 June, Vancouver spent most of the month without leading scorer Brian White and Wingrs Jaden Nelson and Sebastian Berhaltar, which was all on international duty.

The trio was returned to win 2–1 over Velor FC in the Canadian Championship quarter-finals on Wednesday and should be available on Saturday. Playmaker Ryan Gaul remains out with a knee issue.

“I think we’re again picking up,” Sorson said after that victory. “Right now, we are also relying too much on the performance of the same players, and it is normal that it is not just a straight line, that it is up and down in the season, and we will lift it again.”

Meanwhile, Rapids (7–10–5, 26 digits) lost five of their last seven matches in the league to get out of playoffs after a promising start.

Recently, Colorado Los Angeles FC fell 3–0 on Wednesday-a match in which Jackson Travis was issued a red card for violent conduct in the sixth minute and Dennis Buanga put the hosts in front by Hodtime from the penalty spot.

Rapids has scored several goals only twice in its last 13 MLS Games, while scorching five. Djordje Mihailovic has eight goals and Rafael Navaro intake, but the rest of the squad has only nine combined.

“The main thing for us has to understand that there is no easy game, and it is a very big opportunity, against a good team, a very big opportunity,” Rapids coach Chris Armas said during an interview with Denver’s Altitude Sports Radio on Thursday. “But we are a good team, and we welcome the challenge. We have received to focus on the controllers. … You can’t see externally for the solution.”
