San Diego’s 4-3 win over Arizona Diamondback on Thursday night was the 20th one run win of the year.

“We are good in the sports,” said San Diego manager Mike Shield. “We do a lot of things well that allow you to win close games. But it is also legal to win 7-3 or 8-2.”

Padress will try to make things a little easier on themselves and their fans when they start a weekend series against Philadelphia Philips on Friday night.

San Diego is 4-3 on a season-high 10-game homestand, in turn win and disadvantage. The team’s bulk has been a consistent strength, putting two relievers on the National League All-Star Team-Don Hand’s Jason Adam and Robert Suarez. And some feel that the left -handed adroneon Morezone could have been one third.

Morjon has improved 7-3 with a 1 2/3 scorer innings against Arizona on Thursday night and allowed a run (unarmed) from 17 May. Their 99 miles of fastball and late braking slider often leads for weak contact-contact can be made.

“He picked up like an all-star tonight,” Shield said about Morezone, whose era is 1.71. “He was fantastic. And being equally skilled as he allows us to use him more.”

The rest of the Bulpen’s front-line arms shut down the game, in which Morejone and Suarez dropped Arizona down in the ninth for their MLB-high 27th Save.

Shield said that he went to his high end options quickly because he had a chance but is not a formula that can be repeated continuously.

By that end, Padress hopes that right-handed Ryan Berugart (1-0, 2.67 ERA) could have some innings against Washington in his first start since 24 June, when he left after three innings after a hit on the arm from a line drive. This put him on the injured list, but the crook has returned to his sixth beginning and the appearance of the first career against Philadelphia.

Bergart will have to be at the point against the Philos Lafti Ranger Suarez (7-2, 1.99), one of the top beginnings in the game. He last participated in his team’s 5–1 domestic victory over Cincinnati on Saturday, and left five hits and two walks attacking six.

Suarez has dominated San Diego in seven previous appearances, going 3–0 with 2.03 ERA and allows only 24 hits in 31 innings. He also has a win over Padress at 2022 NLCS.

Philadelphia on Wednesday closed a game from his three-game series in San Francisco on Thursday after saving a game with a 13–0 Raut. Bryas Harper closed his first homer from Justin Verlander and added three doubles to Jesus Lujardo to support seven shutouts.

This was a breakout game Harper has seen most of the June missing with inflammation in his right wrist.

“I know when I am doing well,” he said. “I am one of the best in baseball. I’m healthy. I’m strong. I feel very good.”

Harper and The Philos probably felt even better during the closed day on Thursday when their NL East leads increased to 1 1/2 game as New York Met’s was swept away in a doublehead in Baltimore.
