Fernando Tattis Junior and Manny Machao operated each as San Diego Padress, who defeated Arizona Diamondback 4-3 on Thursday night, dividing the four-game chain.

Tatis along with his 16th homer reached San Diego third, destroyed 3-2 cutters on the center area wall. Padress tied the game in the fourth, when Jackson Merrill moved to third place on the single of Jose Iglesius and scored through Jake Krronworth’s RBI Groundout.
Machado put the Padress ahead to finish fifth with his 16th Homer, ripping a cutter to a cutter in the left area. Gavin Sheets chased with a single with their third hit of the night, and when Xander Bogaerts congratulated Reliever Juan Morilo with a double in the left area corner.
Arizona was likely in the seventh and eighth innings. Geraldo Pardomo cut the deficit for a run with the RBI double in the seventh, but Jason Adam stranded two when he inspired a groundout from Lurgace Guril Junior.
Diamondback finished third in the eighth, but Carol saw the third strike from Jeremia Estrada.
