New York Met’s Pitcher David Peterson replaced the San Francisco veteran’s left-handed player Robi Ray on the National League roster on Thursday next Tuesday in Atlanta.

Ray, 33, is scheduled to pitch on Sunday against visiting Los Angeles Dojers. It is 9–3 over 19-3 innings in 113 innings with 2.63 ERA, a full game, 42 walks and 122 strikes this season.

Peterson is the first all-star and the NL Squad will be involved in Met’s Shortstop Francisco Lindor (Starter), first Basman Pit Alonso and Close Edwin Diaz.

29-year-old Peterson also picked the pitch on Thursday, but it was not all good news as Mats fell 3–1 to host Baltimor Oriols in a doublehead’s first game. He started and made a seven-plus innings, with one run (in the eighth) with no walk and six strikes on five hits, but not in the decision.

A full-game shutout with 3.06 ERA with Peterson 6-4 starts over 18 with 93 strikes in 37 walks and 108 innings.

Ray was an all-star in 2017 with Erizona Diamondback and American League Sai Young winner in 2021 with Toronto Blue Jais.

The veterans will be represented by the right -handed Logan Web and Reliler Randy Rodriguez on Tuesday.
