Former NBA G. Ben McLemore gets a sentence of 100 months for rape

Former NBA player Ben McLemore was sentenced to 100 months in Oregon State Jail on Wednesday, recently found guilty of sexual harassment of a 21 -year -old woman at a house party in Portland suburb of Lake Ososo in 2021.

McLemore was sentenced on a first-digry rape charge after being convicted last Thursday, a first-digry allegation of illegal sexual penetration and a counted of another-degree sexual exploitation by a jury in Clackmas County.

McLemore was a player with Portland Trail Blazers at that time. He was the last in the 2021–22 season NBA.

The attack took place on October 3, 2021 at the house of Robert Covington, the then team from McLemore with Portland.

McLemore was identified as a suspect after investigating the sexual harassment report.

The case went before a Clackmas County Grand Jury in February 2024, when the woman who accused McLemore testified. According to the Lake Ososo Police, the grand jury took out an arrest warrant for McLemore and also issued an indictment against him.

McLemore was arrested in April 2024 by American Marshall.

In the 2013 draft, the number 7 overall pick by Sacramento Kings, McLemore also played with Memphis Grizzleez, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Laws and Trail Blazers before going abroad to continue their career.

At the 556 NBA Games (268 Starts), McLemore an average of 9.0 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. He played college basketball in Kansas.
