No. 1 Seed Jannik Sinner canceled its practice session in Wimbledon on Tuesday to wait for MRI results on their right elbow.
Top -order Italian is scheduled to meet 10th seed Ben Shelton in the quarter -finals in London on Wednesday.
Sinner faced injuries during an early decline in the fourth round of Monday’s fourth round against 19th seed Grigor Dimitrov.
The 23-year-old Sinner dropped the first two sets in that match before Dimitrov retired due to his injury 2–2 in the third set.
The best performance of the three-time Grand Slam winner at Grass-Cort Major was a semi-final attempt in 2023.
