The veterans’ Villi Adams Hot vs. Athletics looks to stay

Willy Adams got a contract of seven years, $ 182 million in Offsen to join San Francisco giants, but his bat was missing in action for the first two-plus months of the season.
But now Adams is getting hot and showing why veterans distinguished their services. He will show another strong game together on Sunday night when veteran and athletics West Sacramento completes the three-game series in California.
Adams had a season-high four RBI and the sixth three-touching of the season, San Francisco won 7–2 on Saturday, even for a series in a game app.
The 29 -year -old Shortstop was batting only .194 after a game on June 10, but its average is now .225 after Saturday’s 3 -for -5 attempts. Adams has a six-game hitting streak in which he is batting. 435 (10 -for -23) with one Homer and six with RBI.
“This was a difficult start for me,” Adams said. “I was just working every day that he was trying to correct that feeling and that time, and in the last three weeks I feel better, feel like me.”
Adams on Saturday gave two-two singles, one in the first innings and the second in the third.
“Willy’s hit two were coming out,” the first innings of the veteran manager Bob Melvin said about the first innings heroes. “Then Villi’s next one (big). He was a star in a plate. … He is not chasing so much and doing very good things.”
San Francisco also placed a five-time gold glove third Basman Matt Chapman (Hath) in lineup after the 23-game absence. Chapman cleaned and went for 1 -for -3 and scored twice. He reached a single, walking and hit a pitch.
“He has gone for a very long time, and the team has been missing him,” Adams said about Chapman. “He found on the base three times. He did a wonderful job in his first game.”
The winning of the last 12 matches for San Francisco was the fourth.
Athletics won Friday’s opener 11–2, but fell 1–4 against the veterans in this season and was largely unprotected on Saturday.
Hot-Hitting A crook Nick Kurtz had two couples of veterans, two couples on the Ika Logan web.
Athletics manager Mark Cottage said, “Nick’s at-bats from Logan were very good.” “I felt his attack plan was very good and he actually executed his plan well.”
A. K. miscreant Jacob Wilson, who will start a shortstop for the American League in the All-Star Game on July 15, was a hitless in four at-bats.
Left-arm jacob lopez (2-4, 3.88 ERA) will begin on Sunday for athletics. He played only 3 1/3 innings against Tampa Bay rays last Monday, gave four runs (three earned) and five hits and received no-to-union in a 6–4 victory of athletics.
Lopez raised his only big league sev against veterans in the 2023 season when he was a member of rays. He gave a run in three innings in the last 10-2 rays victory.
Adams is 1 -for -2 with a homer from Lopez.
Right-Hand Hayden Birdsong (3-3, 4.30 ERA) will be on the mound for veterans on Sunday.
Birdsong lost his last two outing as part of the five-start Winless Stretch. His last victory was against Miami Marlins on 1 June. In its last beginning, Birdsong on Tuesday allowed Arizona Diamondback to allow four runs (three earned) and three hits in four innings in a defeat of 8–2.
23 -year -old birdsong started his lone career against AK August. He gave one run and three hits in 4 2/3 innings in a 2–0 win.
