Milwauki brooers Right-Hander Brandon Woodroof is set to return to the major league against hosts Miami Marlins on Sunday afternoon.

The two-time all-star, who is coming from shoulder surgery and a long rehabilitation, has not picked up larger companies since September 23, 2023.

“I don’t know how I feel,” said Woodrof. “I don’t know all feelings. But I know I will get excited.”

Historically, he has been successful against Marlins. He starts 3–0 with 2.77 ERA in four careers.

Sunday will mark the rubber game of the weekend series. Milwauki won the opener 6-5 on Friday and won Miami 4–2 on Saturday.

Bruers are first expected to be without Basman Rice Hokins, who injured his left thumb on a hard tag on the first base on Saturday. X-rays were negative.

The possibility of Jake Baurs will begin on the first basis if Hosins are unavailable.

“It doesn’t feel great,” Brever’s manager Pat Murphy said about the thumb of Hokins. “I think it’s going to be super throat. It is swinging the bat below you. It is really important.

“Hopefully it is not an injury-list condition, but it may depend on how he feels the next few days.”

Hoskins, who admitted that his thumb is around his neck, was asked about Marlins, who won 10 of his last 12 matches under Ruki Manager Clayton McCulla.

“He has found some good, young players,” said Hoskins. “They are playing good baseball.

“I know that Clayton looked at him well by coaching the doseers for a long time. I know what kind of baseball man he is, and he is doing them all the right things. They are playing with emotion.”

For Woodroof, Hoskins said, “We are all for him”.

“I know it likes to remember a whole year,” Hoskins said, who tore his left ACL in spring training in 2023 and was sidelined for the season. “But I also know what to compete against (Woodroof). It’s not fun.”

Marlins will compete with the right-handed Edward Cabarera (3-2, 3.41 ERA) on Sunday.

In a three-career performance against Milwauki, Cabarera with 1-1-13 with 2.13 ERA is doing its best since 2022, when it ended 6–4 with 3.01 ERA in 14.

His era in each of the last two sessions was more than 4.00, when he had a joint 11–15 records.

For Miami’s lineup, Ruki Catcher Agustin Ramirez has continued to spark the team with two-rin, tiebracing single in the eighth innings on Saturday.

“We have seen the maturity of Gass throughout the season,” Macullad said about two-outs, two-stroke hits of Ramirez. “While he is a crook, he has been in a very big spot.”

Ramirez, who did not make his MLB debut till April 21, has 37 RBI, who stood third on Marlins.

Marlins also got the job of late staller bulpen on Saturday, when he stopped the victory with a 5 1/3 scorer innings of relief.
