Minnesota twins hope that a swing may inspire him to win a series.
Twins will be square against Tampa Bay rays on Saturday afternoon for the second installment of the three-game series. Minnesota is winning 4-3 in a series opener for the walk-off homer at the bottom of the ninth by Harrison Bedar on Friday.
The solo shot won the twin children in a nine-game homestand opener.
“We needed it as a team,” said Twins Right-Hander Chris Padack. “Return win. Walk-off home by bed. The fourthth of July. Last week vs. Today, the energy change in that club house was different at night and day.
“So hopefully we can take that energy to the next doubles sports against Tampa, and hopefully we can take the remaining part of the homestand before rolling for the second part of the season.”
Meanwhile, the rays will try to snap a cold magic, which has lost four in the last five matches.
Tampa Bay was also eagerly waiting for the word about Ha-Seong Kim’s position, who started his team on Friday, but left the game due to the right calf injury. He came out after going to 1 -for -3.
Kim, who had missed the first three months of the season while recovering from offsen surgery on her right shoulder, did not believe that the latest injury would sideline her long -term.
“I think we will need to revaluate (Saturday),” Kim said. “But I don’t think it should be a big problem. I did not feel anything in my calf until I started walking on the third basis. Let’s just see (Saturday).”
Rezen manager Kevin Cash also took an optimistic voice.
“I hope (that’s fine). We’ll just see,” said Cash. “It is like day to day. Check on it through night and then (Saturday).”
The twins have been demanding back-to-back win since three consecutive win from 25-27 June. Before scoring four runs on Friday, he scored a total of three runs in his last four matches.
The beder hopes that his explosion will mark a turn.
“You really have to believe that you are always a pitch away or a swing is far away or away from playing a diving,” the bed said. “When you have many people who strengthen this thing and who take care and who want to win like you, then good things happen.
“You really become a swing, a pitch away.”
The right-handed crown Bradley (5-6, 4.79 ERA) will also try a series on taking the mound on Saturday. He is hoping to bounce back from a damage against Baltimore Oriols on Sunday, which tagged him for five runs on eight hits in 5 1/3 innings.
Bradley has faced Minnesota four times in his career, going 0–2 with 4.38 ERAs. He suffered losses against visiting twins on 27 May, when he allowed three runs (two acquired) on five hits in seven innings. He hit six and one went away.
Twins did not announce the starter for Saturday. Minnesota should reshuffle his rotation after placing a right -handed belly Ober in the injured list on Wednesday due to a left hip.
