Detroit Tigers activated the right -handed Reese Olson from the injured list to start Friday’s game against Cleveland Guardian.
Tigers opened a roster spot late on Thursday when outfielder Justin-Henry Maloy was selected for Triple-e Toleo.
The 25-year-old Olson was with 2.96 ERA in nine before 4–3, before he went to IL with swelling in his right ring finger. In three sessions with Detroit, it is 13–18 with 3.60 ERA in 52 appearances (49).
25 -year -old Maloy was batting. 208 with a home run and 16 RBI in 46 matches this season. In two sessions, he has been batting with nine domestic runs and 37 RBI in 117 matches since he started his major league in 2024.
